This experiment is to follow a mini-lesson on different types of Sedimentary Rocks. In this wet lab, students use sand or other collected materials and Play Dough to demonstrate how a conglomerate sedimentary rock is formed.
This PowerPoint is an introduction to how the Scientific Method works. It is very visual and explains each step for the student. It contains Observe, Research, Hypothesis, Experiment, Data Analysis, and Drawing Conclusion.
Students can practice their long division skills in this fun and challenging activity. Students have to create their own division problems from simple with no remainders to more complex with remainders (this is done on the second page). They then create a word search with just the problem (no solutions) on the first page and the answer in the grid.
