Name The Letters
This power point will rotate through all the upper and lowercase letters automatically. You can do this as a whole or small group for letter recognition review. You can also have the students complete this for one minute and document how many they can name correctly. I have hyperlinked a data sheet for both lower and uppercase letter so you can show the students' growth. Great for conferences and for the Student Success Team. The slides change every 3 seconds, however this can be edited. Y

Experience
I taught Pre-kindergarden for 5 1/2 years before moving on to 5th grade. I have taught 5th for going on 7 years. I also have experience teaching Kindergarten and 3rd grade.
Teaching style
I like to use lots of hands on activities and investigations. I believe in letting the kids be active members of their classroom. I also incorporate smart notebook presentations, powerpoint, videos, and music, After I teach the goal, I have the students practice it through investigations in small groups. Later they complete differentiated menus that offer activities on every learning style.
