When I taught kindergarten, I had an old hundreds chart that needed a little “repurposing.” Rather than discard it, I decided to cut the chart into strips of ten, laminate, and hole punch them to make a pack of number frames. We ended up using those frames almost every day.
The hundreds chart was a little too much information for some of my struggling students. The number strips presented the numbers in "chunks" and helped make the learning process ma
