This project-based unit can be used as a packet or individually. It is a great way to teach economics, business, money, and time management. It also involves collaboration and builds classroom community! How I use it: I assign it as to groups of 3 students. They can sell anything, as long as they can really make it with materials available in our classroom (bracelets, origami, artwork, etc.). Then, I would recommend a market day where they actually get to see their product fly off the shelves. K

These slides are used daily in my classroom. Simply input student names and never again have to answer "What are we doing?", "What do I need?", "What do I do when I'm done?", or the dreaded "I didn't know". These are very customizable and allow students to move through jobs independently with a lot of choice!
