This chapter journal is set up to be used during a novel study for There's an Owl in the Shower. There are one or two short questions to answer after each chapter. There are 17 sections in all. There are two different versions, one with an alternative questions for Chapter 1. I love these for quick comprehension checks after reading if I don't want to do a full blown novel study with my class.

These two writing prompts were used in my classroom after reading Friends for Freedom: The Story of Susan B. Anthony & Frederick Douglass, written by Suzanne Buckingham Slade.
