About the store
I've spent over a decade teaching all levels of chemistry and physics- up to the AP curriculum! My goal is for classroom to be engaging, safe, inclusive, and inspiring for my students, and design lectures and practices that aim to be as concise as possible so I have time to focus on the hands-on labs, activities, and discussions that make science awesome. When I first started teaching AP Physics 2 especially, I was frustrated by the lack of resources available- so spent a couple of years honing, refining, and sharing my curriculum to get it to where it is today and be sharable!

There is not nearly enough resources out there to teach AP Physics 2. This bundle will provide you with a great jumping off point so you can spend your time learning the content and teaching effectively rather than developing the content! This bundle includes: Scaffolded Lecture Notes- designed to have space to write and annotate as the teacher lectures, writing along with the students as they go. These are developed from the Collegeboard Course and Exam Description, the Cutnell-Johnson textboo

This lab, designed for my AP Physics 2 students, guides students through investigating the length and area affect on resistance using a play-dough (NOT CIRCUIT DOUGH) resistor. Then, the students will use their data to determine the resistivity value of play-dough. Materials required: Voltmeter, Ammeter, Playdough, ruler, plastic knife (for shaping/cutting dough), batteries Time: Approx. 1.5 hrs (can be made to 45 min if each group only does length or area, not both)

This lab was designed to be used as an introductory lab in my AP Physics 2 course and an exploration lab in my Physics in the Universe classes. In the lab, instructions are provided for both a simulation (pHet Circuit Builder) and hands-on materials (bulbs, wires, battery, multimeters), as I encourage students to do both simultaneously for deeper understanding. The lab consists of 4 parts. Part 1 they learn to use a multimeter and how current is the same everywhere in a series circuit. Part 2 i

AP Physics Lab | Internal Resistance of a Battery | Demonstration | Editable

This lab, designed for my AP Physics 2 students, guides students through two methods to determine the internal resistance of a battery. I typically do this lab as a demonstration to save time, but could also easily be completed by students independently if they have the proper lab equipment. In Part 1, students measure the emf of the battery when not connected in a circuit, then measure the terminal voltage under various resistances- seeing it be lower when there's more current. (Warning- the

This lab was designed to be used in my AP Physics 2 curriculum. In this lab, students will test various circuit elements (resistors, LEDs, bulbs, etc.) to determine if that resistor is Ohmic (follows Ohm's Law) or non-ohmic. Students are given ample background information, then write their own procedures to test. Students are instructed to compare their results to other groups, and draw conclusions. Materials Required: variable power source, voltmeter/probe, ammeter/ current probe (or multimet

In it, they first make predictions about how current, voltage across capacitor, and voltage across resistor will change when a switch is closed in both circuits. Then, collect the data and analyze the max and min values. Materials required: Vernier v
