S.O.S. (Simultaneous Oral Spelling) is a multi-sensory spelling strategy. This is an effective visual sequence for students who have trouble with working memory. Personally, with my 2nd grade special education students I use the first option. (without words) I laminate these and give each student a toy marker, as they complete each task they move the toy.
