This is a I Have, Who Has card game where students can review key places, people, and vocabulary entailing the Texas Revolution including the Alamo, Santa Anna, Sam Houston, debt, and so forth. This game can be done again and again until students become familiar with all words. In our class, we like to time ourselves and then beat our best time.
This is a filler I created for my students to practice locating major Texas cities on a map. Students can use their fingers to place the cities in the correct location on the map. On the second slide, students can practice locating other important geographical areas such as the Gulf of Mexico, surrounding states, and rivers.
