About the store

I taught for 35 years in the classroom - middle school and high school, in conjunction with distance learning, independent study and homeschool, and now I create resources to help teachers save time while keeping learning fun. My heart is for the new teacher trying to survive, the busy parent who desires to homeschool their student(s) and balance work, and the seasoned teacher looking for less stress in the last stretch. My high school resource supplements (college prep) are designed to make teaching simple, engaging, and stress-free — with the goal to graduate their student from high school! Specializing in supplemental materials to support an IB curriculum, AP or Gate curriculum as well as classroom comprehensive and Alternative Education/Home School and Independent Study across various subjects, including humanities, literature, visual arts, social studies and much more. I have guided curriculum development and led successful education department initiatives in both middle school and high school. What sets my resources apart? This handout will give your students a summary of what Greek Theater was all about! Actors were required to have massive lungs in order to reach “the cheap seats.” Their costuming did give them a bit of help. All actors wore masks, usually with exaggerated features (those at the top needed to be able to make them out), and the mouthpiece cut into each mask acted as a megaphone, projecting the actors’ voices even further than they could on their own. Hello, I am Kay! With 35 years of experience in diverse educational settings—including middle school, high school, and independent study—I have transitioned to sharing my extensive curriculum and resources. I have realized that my teaching expertise now focuses on helping educators save time while maintaining an engaging learning environment. My mission is straightforward: to empower you to leave your classroom at the end of the day with confidence, assured that your students are engaged and your lesson plans are prepared. My philosophy is to work smarter, not harder—this embodies my approach to teaching. My lessons are (a-g), many are college prep/A.P lessons, comprehensive, short, and impactful, so all levels of learning are taking place. My lessons (worksheets/handouts) may be extended upon or further modified; thus, my lessons provide a subject springboard for teachers and students.
