Classroom jobs are so important to building independence and classroom community. This version includes over 30 jobs, blank pages for you to add your own jobs, and pencils for student names. I have used magnets and hook and loop to attach pencils to cards after laminating and posting. If you would like to me add jobs to this set please message me and I will update the product!
This is a printable calendar for the 2023-2024 school year with lined pages for notes. I usually bind mine with my lesson plan book, but these can also be put in a binder. The pages are big enough to add all of the important dates for your year. There are black and white images at the top of each month for you to color or doodle with (it helps me get through staff meetings! Have a wonderful school year!
Directions for use:
Print the ladybug number cards on card stock and laminate. Have students take two cards, write the numbers down on the lines on either side of a circle, then compare the numbers using symbols inside the circle.
The ladybug cards can also be used for other math activities like adding or subtracting double digits with regrouping, order numbers, or place value.
Use this to quickly assess time skills of your students. I put one of these on each student's desk in the morning. Then, randomly, throughout the day, I will yell, "What time is it?" The students will quickly stop what they're doing, read the classroom analog clock, and write down the time. Each day I do this I can see how the skills is progressing. I also use the data from these to adjust my small groups. Don't forget to put one on your desk so you have an answer key for the day!
The simple, yet colorful posters are perfect for your ELA focus wall. The skills and genres go along with Houghton Mifflin's Journeys for grade 2 and will cover the entire year.
This is an effective book report that emergent readers and writers can handle. Students will write the title, author, and illustrator of the book they are writing about. They will also identify basic story elements of characters and plot. They will also have a chance to rate the book!
Use this chart to have your students keep track of their math fact fluency. Each month, students color in their bar graph to show how many subtraction facts they can accurately complete in one minute. This chart allows students to take more ownership of their progress, and they can set goals each month.

Use these pages to review basic math skills each day. I run these on cardstock and laminate them so my students could use a vis-à-vis pens to complete. Then, we rinse them off at the end of the day. There are three different versions included to reflect the changing skill level of your students.
