It includes a reading passage and activities, a quiz, vocabulary puzzle sort (with pictures), task cards. The idea behind this passage was to really focus on vocabulary words. I use this assignment in my lab as an explore. I put out different liquids and allow my students to test the density in graduate cylinders. I may do the two ingredient with them as an example. You also could do the four step ingredients with them so that you are not wasting liquids. If I have already talked about density values with them, I would have the liquids labeled with the value so that they have a better chance of creating the tower and not wasting ingredients.
