The derivative spelling rules help learners spell base words and suffixes. This follows the Orton Gillingham, OG approach. This is also used in many reading programs aimed for learners with dyslexia.

This is the on level spelling words for unit 5 week 1 in the Texas Treasures program. Each word is on 2 different cards.
I use this as a center. The students are paired up and have to read to words on the cards to keep the matches.
