Chapter questions and vocabulary for Shiloh.

Flash cards for SH TH (voiced and unvoiced) CH, and CK. Diagraphs are found at the beginning, middle, and end of words.

Slideshow reviewing walruses, seals, polar bears, and penguins for entering and emergent level ELLs. Read questions out loud, and students can point and/or say the answers.

I used this activity as an introduction into teaching main idea and details for my French ELLs. I cut out all the pieces and mixed them up. I grouped one main idea with the three details as an example and the student did the remaining ones independently.

This worksheet asks students to identify what the pronoun is referring to. Good for reading comprehension and NYSESLAT practice.

Scaffold for accountable talk. Categories: extend, disagree, agree, and clarify. When cut out, the pieces fit on a normal sheet of paper.

I used this for my group of entering and emerging English language learners. For the inside of the pumpkin, I used canned pumpkin for my younger students to save on the mess. For older students, we cut the pumpkin open.

I used these flashcards before reading We're Going on a Leaf Hunt.

Students sound out three letter words and then match the pictures to the words.
