About the store

Experience

I spent several years as a volunteer building and running a chess club in my local school system. My products are based on the same material that I used for several years to teach chess to elementary school students. I'm happy to be able to now share this with others.

Teaching style

Many chess enthusiasts that go off to start scholastic chess clubs are interested in finding the next Bobby Fischer. This creates a high stress environment that emphasizes chess as a competitive sport. My primary focus is to create a fun outlet (primary focus is on the FUN) for students to be exposed to a way of thinking that is most likely different from what they experience in the classroom.
