Keeping Math Engaging

This activity teaches adding and subtracting linear expressions step by step. Students will first have to match the linear expressions to their answer. They will cut out the strips and glue them in their notebook. Then after getting their work approved they will go to the next activity. The second activity has students using given variables and numbers fill in the blank spaces making the linear expressions true. The last activity has them adding and subtracting linear expressions on their own. A

Three different slope activities that start at the lower end of blooms and works the student up to the higher end of blooms. The first activity is a matching activity that focuses on the academic language of slope. The second activity has students filling in the equation for the line. The third activity requires the students to make a line graph with only the slope and a set of coordinate points.
