This helps students who are emerging writers to write a complete sentence. They have to complete a smiley face man with a party hat before they write a new sentence. I keep this as a poster on my front board and point to it when I see a student that needs to complete their sentence.

This is a word document with all the coins and their proper touchdots. I cut them in strips , laminate, and tape them to my kids desks.

After reading the story "The Mitten" you can incorporate math by using this graph. It asks students to choose if they like mittens, gloves, or neither.
