Adding With Decimals - Your Name in Gold
Students will use the letters in their own name to find the "value" of their name.
This project supports children to use a chart, add and multiply with decimals (money), and create large equations.
Students will be required to use problem solving strategies; they will need to create their own equations to find the value of their name.
An extension to this project is also provided for students that require a greater challenge.
