I created this template to use with the Magic School Bus books. I usually have my students write down facts they've learned on their buses. I let them color and cut them out. They love to add flames to the back since the bus is always zooming off to somewhere exciting! :o)
This is a matching game I created to help my students with subject-verb agreement. The candy corns can be laminated and cut out. I cut the bottom (light orange portion) off so that students could try to match each up with the correct sentence (remaining candy portion). There is a recording sheet included.
I created these cards to use with my station wheel for literacy stations. Included are: Buddy Reading, Big Book, iPads, iPods, Computers, Creation Station, Drama, Handwriting, Overhead, Listening, Poetry, Pocket Chart, Science, Social Studies, Writing, Word Study, Silent Reading, Strategy, and I.P.(Independent Practice)
This is a math station I created to use in the month of February. I found plastic heart boxes at Dollar Tree and numbered them 1-10. I cut up a hundred chart and put four numbers inside each heart box. Students will put each set of numbers in order from least to greatest, recording their answers on the record sheet.
This is the recording sheet that I created for a game I call "Math Towers." I used wooden Jenga pieces, labeling each with a number 1-6. The students build towers to measure their height, as well as add up how much their tower is worth.
