I gave these to kids who have not yet met the standard for number recognition 1-30. Saves on paper because just one page per kid! Print onto colored construction paper. Laminate if desired. Hole punch and put on a ring! :) I sent them home but they could also be used in math boxes. Parents loved them.

Kindergarten Math Journal prompts. This packet has 21 prompts that address CCSS K. OA.1, K.OA.2, and K.OA.3. Each page has two half page prompts to help you save on paper. Simply print, staple, and cut to make half-page math journals for use during your small groups, math lessons, or even as math homework. These are great for parent volunteers to do with small groups as well. Each prompt is aligned to a math Common Core Standard and the standard is written on each page.
