Emoji Nametags
I type my student's names, print and go! These go in a 5X7 acrylic frame so students can dry erase on them. They do a feelings check for our morning check in by circling their emoji. Some students like to change it throughout the day. I also write little messages on them sometimes! On the opposite side I place a login chart to help students login easily and independently! I LOVE this story for practicing dialogue. Who doesn't love a doughnut, especially a talking one. Print these pages or assign directly to Seesaw (activity link included). Snowman Craftivity
Get creative with writing! I read a good snowman story like: Snowmen at Night to begin this lesson. The students just love the story and get so inspired to create! The download includes full directions, which makes it a great sub activity as well. After reading, students will cut and glue paper to create a snowman (template included). My goal is to have fun in the classroom & keep students excited about learning. I am passionate about creating "life long learners"! I am also a SUPER STRUCTURED teacher, firmly believing in the art of routine & repetition. I ALWAYS push my students to seek-out CHALLENGES as a positive experience where they can grow and become BETTER! My classroom is a playful, hardworking, artistic space which allows children to grow in a safe space.

Additional biographical information
I was an average student doing average work, until one day I realized I loved learning way more than I gave myself credit! Growing up, I was so focused, but mostly on learning sports techniques and growing as an athlete. I was a confident athlete and on the field I was a million times more confident than in the classroom. So, that confidence fueled my athletic passion. I always loved learning in the classroom, but often was too timid to speak up or share my ideas in fear that they might be "wrong". In my later college years, I realized how much I LOVED learning in & out of the classroom. I found my calling as a teacher...my desire to help others by providing focus and fun to learn!
