About the store
This is my fifth year teaching students with autism at a separate public day school. My students are profoundly impacted by their autism, but with an environment engineered for structured, systematic learning they succeed. It is amazing to see their progress and wonderful to make connections with the students and their families. I am so excited to share these beginning learning activities and hope they work as accommodations, maintenance, or the next step in learning.

Hey TpT! So here is a bundle I've created for early/special learners. Just cut the lines on the lines on the puzzle and have the students use the numbers at the bottom to help them put the puzzle together correctly. This works on visual motor skills and number order skills, an encourages familiarity with seasonal vocabulary and items. Includes: summer, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, Autumn, Thanksgiving, winter, Christmas, Spring, Valentine's Day and Summer. 5 puzzles per theme

About the store

Experience

This is my fifth year teaching students with autism at a separate public day school. My students are profoundly impacted by their autism, but with an environment engineered for structured, systematic learning they succeed. It is amazing to see their progress and wonderful to make connections with the students and their families. I am so excited to share these beginning learning activities and hope they work as accommodations, maintenance, or the next step in learning.

Teaching style

My teaching style relies heavily on ABA techniques and task-analysis. With the right interventions and motivations, all children can be engaged learners.
