This is a pumpkin character project that I made for my students and want to share with others. It includes a mini booklet for students to use while creating a book report and decorating a pumpkin to look like a character from the book. It is targeted for primary students and focuses on a character developing throughout a story and the overall structure of the story. In order to reach my most at risk kiddos and those who are exceeding expectations, I use my MAP data to form workshop (RIT) groups. This is the lesson plan format that I use to keep track of my groups as well as individual progress within those groups. This is not a formal lesson plan and is meant to be used as a quick guide/reference to who belongs where during math and reading RIT times.
This AR reading tracker bundle will allow you and your kiddos to keep track of the AR books and tests the students are taking. I have experienced many times that a students have accountability for their reading while using this system. I have included bookmarks, AR goal certificates, and individual point club awards. Heat up the laminator, add a piece of tape, and the students will love wearing their point club proudly!

I have created 4 different quick and easy formative assessments to be used as exit slips for reading and math. The pack includes 1 math exit slip, 1 reading exit slip, 1 reading response exit slip, and 1 "show your thinking" math exit slip.
All exit slips have been designed for you to easily write in the "I can" statement you are currently working on without the hassle of having to dig through your resources for the standard you are teaching.
I attach the reading level card to our weekly fluency folder. I include goals for my students in order to track their progress. This also allows parents to see where their child is and where they should be.
This is an informal lesson plan template that I use as a weekly guide. The product is editable for you to customize your needs. Please let me know if you have any questions on how to change things around!
This packet is intended to be used as a reinforcement of multiplying by 2. Cut out and laminate the cards for use to target individual needs and/or during math centers. The worksheet can be used as a quick formative assessment/exit slip.
