Additional biographical information

My passion is to teach students who feel misunderstood. When I was a teenager my father was diagnosed with brain cancer and lost most of his abilities to speak and walk. I was hurt and confused by the fact that people saw him differently after he got sick. I promised myself I would never look at disabilities the same. Until you put in the effort to learn about someone you don't know them or their story... I have made it my mission to learn my student's story and love them unconditionally.
