I am currently an ELL teacher in Tennessee. I work with students of all ages within the elementary level. I love teaching and I am looking to share my "old life" with my new by sharing my graphic skills on TpT.
Students don't always have manipulatives available. This sheet of hundreds grids will allow students to have the support that they need! This can be very useful at home for homework, or on a test if it is allowed.
Graph paper is very helpful to help students keep place-values in line when adding and subtracting. The problem with standard graph paper is that it is far too small for young students to write inside the squares. This is easy to use and great for students to use with their homework!
In this activity students have an opportunity to practice plotting points on a grid. The points are situated so that when connected it creates a picture of a bee. There is a legend to indicate where to plot points and draw each line segment on a separate page. The red lines of the key indicate the line segments to be drawn and the additional details have been added to the final piece.
This collection of story maps include two options for each of four different versions. This collection has maps that can be used K-12 depending on they version chosen. Each of the four versions has lower and higher level options. This allows for the teacher to use the higher support version while teaching students how to use the story map.
This simple KWL chart is easy to navigate for students of all ages. The orientation of the chart allows for younger students to to have plenty of space to write, while older students have enough space to write more information if needed.

Experience
I am currently an ELL teacher in Tennessee. I work with students of all ages within the elementary level. I love teaching and I am looking to share my "old life" with my new by sharing my graphic skills on TpT.
Teaching style
My teaching style is a bit more relaxed, but my classroom management is rigorous. I like to give students the opportunity to work together and explore the subject, with some guidance of course!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I do not wish to share honors and awards in the traditional sense. However, it has been my pleasure to work with amazing students and teachers and I feel very HONORED to be a member of the team.
My own education history
I have a MEd in Education and am licensed to teach K-6 and ELL. I also have a BFA in Graphic Design and an AS in English.
Additional biographical information
When I'm not teaching, or prepping for the days/weeks ahead, I love reading, art, and my cat. I'm afraid that sounds like a stereotypical teacher, but it's the truth! I also love to travel and I cannot wait to visit Ireland one day.
TPT is the largest marketplace for PreK-12 resources, powered by a community of educators.
