About the store
With over seven years of teaching experience, I bring a diverse and global perspective to elementary education. I spent five years teaching in elementary schools in South Africa, where I developed a strong foundation in differentiated instruction and student-centered learning. After moving to California, I continued my passion for education, teaching in a variety of classroom settings for the past two years. My teaching philosophy centers on building meaningful relationships, fostering critical thinking, and creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive. This blend of international and local experience shapes the resources I create—making them thoughtful, engaging, and grounded in real classroom needs. Every product in my store is designed with purpose and tested with students, so you can feel confident using them in your own classroom. Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and connection. I believe in the power of project-based learning to engage students in real-world thinking and meaningful problem-solving. I use a variety of materials and strategies to reach diverse learning styles, keeping lessons dynamic, hands-on, and relevant. At the heart of my approach is a deep commitment to building strong relationships with each student—understanding their individual needs, interests, and strengths to help them grow both academically and personally. In my classroom, every learner is seen, supported, and challenged to take ownership of their learning journey.

Additional biographical information

Hi there! I'm a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching, coaching, and creating meaningful resources for the classroom. While I currently teach full time, my long-term goal is to move into educational administration to help support students and teachers on a broader scale. I also have a love for coaching—especially soccer—and enjoy finding ways to build teamwork and confidence in and out of the classroom. When I’m not teaching or designing resources, you can find me bird watching, knitting, or spending quality time with my husband and our sweet little girl. I’m a big believer in balance, family, and the joy of learning—both at home and while traveling. Thanks for stopping by my store!
