This webquest introduces students to the world of geometry.

This webquest takes the students through the process of decimal operations. It covers the four arithmetic operations and how to use them when dealing with decimal numbers. It helps to engage students in self discovery and practice using decimal operations.

Students will use their investigation skills to find answers to questions about subtracting integers. Once the students discover the strategy to help learn how to subtract integers, they will use this strategy to complete practice problems.

This webquest takes the students on a discovery of tessellations. It covers how tessellations developed, what they are made of, different types of tessellations, etc. Students will use their reading skills to find the answers to the questions.

You will use this lab to design and build a water filter device from household items. You will then choose 3 types of materials to use as filters in the device. You will conduct the experiment on each of the materials and record your observations and findings in the given lab report. In the end, you will record a video summarizing your findings.

This activity is designed to help students practice finding rates and unit rates.

Students will solve orders of operations problems to find the x coordinate and y coordinate to plot on the treasure map grid. Students will document trail as they plot their points. You could use this activity as a cut and paste activity also.

This packet give teachers a modified student notes to explain the three types of heat transfer. The answer key is also given.

Students will use the given net to find the surface area of the rectangular prism. It is a Valentine's Day themed activity that the students can decorate for their special person to give as a valentine's card. Students will use their knowledge of finding area to help calculate the total surface area of the net.

Students will research and develop a trip across the United States to places they would like to visit. They will record their destinations using the PowerPoint slide template. They will also need to develop a budget sheet to document expenses for the trip.

This project has the students to conduct research on the types of data displays and choose one to use. Students will conduct survey to gather data and analyze the data to construct a poster or google slide. Students are given specific tasks to display on the poster project.

Use your knowledge of area formulas to complete the activity. This activity has you the students list the formulas, identify the measurements, and calculate the area of the shapes.

Students will use their math skills to calculate their weight on other planets. Students will need to know how to use decimal operations.
