Cooperative Group Activity: Practice Computating Decimals in the Form of Money
This activity is designed for small groups of four or five students. Each group will be given a budget of $2000 to spend on items in specific categories. They will find these items to buy using newspapers, magazines, and sale ads provided by the teacher. Each member of the group is given a required category of items to purchase. I graduated from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in ElementaryEducation and a minor in Early Childhood.

I love what I do and am very fortunate to have worked with so many students throughout my career. I have a wonderful family of five girls, two son-in-laws and a loving, supportive husband. I am blessed.
