This product includes 60 different sentence starters for young writers to begin forming their own sentences. Students will use the sentence starters such as I like the ____ or We can see ____ to begin writing. I would suggest printing these on colored paper, laminating, and putting them on a ring for durability. These are great for a writing center, whole group instruction, journal writing, etc.

These are sentences meant to be read by early readers. All the sentences included contain only sight words, CVC words, and a few consonant blends. This product is meant to be used in small group, writing stations, whole group, or independent reading time.

This resource is an assessment of the skills that are taught during the first quarter of kindergarten in order to adequately score and fill in report cards. The assessment was made with the skills taught during the first quarter in my kindergarten classroom. I will be adding more products with other assessments as the skills progress throughout the year :)

This resource is the assessment I use with my kindergarten students to evaluate their progress for the 3rd nine weeks of school. The skills included are: punctuation, sentence writing and capitalization, writing CVC words, decoding CVC words, number recognition, number writing, comparing numbers, addition, counting quantities 1-20, oral counting by ones, fives, and tens.

I would suggest putting the sheets in sheet protectors and placing them in a binder, so they can be used over and over. The sentences are split into skills including: short a, short e, short I, short o, short u, sh, ch, th, l blends, s blends, r blends, and ending blends.

This product is an apple tree craft that focuses on rhyming words. The rhyming words are all in the -at family. There are six pictures, but the students have to figure out which four words rhyme. This is an easy, low prep craft for the fall in kindergarten! Enjoy :)

This resource includes two different work mats for comparing numbers. The first mat is for comparing quantities and introducing the concept of comparing two numbers. Use math counters, mini erasers, candy, marshmallows, or any other material! The second mat is for comparing numbers using the greater than, less than, or equal to sign. I have these laminated for durability. There are black and white versions in the resource if you choose to print on colored paper.
