I teach at a William Glasser Quality school, with a focus on warm, caring relationships, teaching the useful and relevant application of knowledge with a goal of competence, and uses a lead-management approach to promote self-evaluation and continual improvement.
Teaching style
In a Glasser Quality School, students and teachers are taught Choice Theory to reach a common ground in establishing a supportive, caring environment and in building healthy relationships that contribute to school success. I believe in hands-on interactive lessons.
My own education history
Graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Psychology, and teaching endorsements for NC state in K-6 general education, and Special education K-6. In addition to 7-12 English Education.
Additional biographical information
I'm a really fun mom of two girls. I love all things, Disney. I dream of owning a Reindeer Farm in the mountains of Tennessee when I retire. I am a novice procreate artist and enjoy creating. Follow me to see what fun I dream up. My goal as an educator is to be Mary Poppins mixed with Mrs. Frizzle.
