This is a fun craft to do after reading the book Mae Among the Stars or any book about Mae Jemison. Have the kids make the spaceship by cutting and gluing it together, then have them decorate their own spacesuit. Lastly, add a photo of their face! It is so cute and such a great lesson! It makes a great bulletin board too! Have fun!
Snowman at Night craft and writing. Students cut out, glue, and decorate their snowmen. Then, add their photo on the snowman's face. They can paint the snow and use their fingerprints or Q-Tips to add snowflakes. We added snow glitter too. See examples. It makes for such a cute winter themed bulletin board.

St. Patrick’s Day Project If I were a leprechaun I would hide my gold… Directions: Print pictures of kids, have kids color or paint hats and gold. Then, have them add the orange beard on their chin using orange paint and a fork. (Use the fork to make the hair strokes) Have kids write where they would hide their gold if they were a leprechaun. Hang up and enjoy!
Have FUN celebrating MLK Jr. and diversity with this cute project. After teaching about Martin Luther King Jr., have students draw and write a dream of their own in the thought bubble. Take their picture and have them make a hand print heart. We used the colors of their skin, but you could use any colors. Use the Sign for your bulletin board and hang up your gorgeous projects.
