This resource comes with 20 clip cards that students can use to help them practice composing numbers. This resource works as a great math centre, or could be used as part of a math lesson, or to test student understanding.

Students will pick a number card and will represent the number on the "place value mat" using base ten blocks, or any other manipulative that you like. The students can then record their answers on a recording sheet. Resource comes with number cards from 1- 60

This ten frame activity is a great math centre to help students with their one-to-to one correspondence of numbers. I laminate the cards and use mini erasers as markers, however you can use pom-poms or whatever you have on hand.
