This activity is to help the student understand the relationship between numbers and quantity. By connecting cardinality to demonstrate an understanding that the last number said, tells the number of objects in the set. Also, helps the student to understand that the number of objects is the same no matter their arrangements.

This worksheet is an excellent tool for learning numbers and building dexterity. Kindergarteners can rote count fluently; however, most cannot recognize the numbers they are counting. Not only is the worksheet great for rote counting it is also great for one-to-one counting.
