Students roll 3 dice and add the numbers together. Students locate the sum on the game board and cover it. The student who covers their numbers first is the winner. This is a great math center to practice 3 addend addition.
Grab a box of cereal or two! Students can use these sheet to measure with non-standard units. This is also a great activity to leave with a sub while you are studying measurement. Students use the cereal to measure and then record the number of pieces they used next to the line.
These pages will help your students with the brainstorming or prewriting stage of their writing. These can be used to teach the writing process and make an excellent addition for informational writing on pumpkins. Students can use these to gather their ideas and organize their research.

Copy star cards (on cardstock), laminate, and cut out. Students begin the activity with all of the star cards face down. One student will select two cards and flip them over. They will count the stars on each star card. The object of the game is to add the stars on the two cards together to get a total. The students can use the recording sheet on the top to record their answers. Copy the recording sheet front and back to make a possible math center last longer.
