This is a number bond center activity with a recording sheet. I designed the pieces of this activity inside rectangles and squares to be easily cut out. Print multiple sets and laminate the pieces. Use number bond trees that match your current skill level.

About the store

Experience

I have taught 1 year of regular kindergarten, 2 years of honors kindergarten, and 2 years of a transitional 1st grade class. I'm also trained in Project Read, DIBELS, LIPS, Math Their Way, etc.

Teaching style

I'm a very hands-on learner, therefore, I'm a very hands-on teacher. I believe in having a great time while you teach and your students will have a great time learning. I love creating my themes around books and instill a love of reading in my students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

During my 5 years of teaching, I have been voted Teacher of the Year 2 times, by 2 different school faculties. Teacher of the Year 2010-2011 and 2013-2014. I have also served as the ELA Kindergarten Teacher Leader for our school.

My own education history

I received an Early Elementary Education (PK-3) degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2009.

Additional biographical information

My husband and I were recently blessed with our first child, Colton. We made the decision for me to stay home one year with our little man and I will return to my kindergarten classroom next year. This was such a difficult decision for us, because teaching is such a strong passion of mine. However, I am loving the extra time with our little guy and I wouldn't trade this year for anything.
