Student Surveys
Students have fun gathering and analyzing data. They will learn fun facts about each other as they ask and answer the survey question. This activity has really brought my class closer as a community of learners and friends. Students roam the room with a clipboard and the survey. They poll 11 classmates and tally the data. Experience
I have been teaching for over 20 years and have loved every single minute of it- really! I currently teach kindergarten and have found my niche. Teaching style
Kindergarten by nature is very hands-on. We learn by doing, exploring, and investigating. I teach in themes where I can tie in all of the subject areas in a cohesive manner.

Additional biographical information
I'm a corgi fanatic. We have owned 5 pembroke welsh corgis in the last 20 years. At one point we had three but we found that 2 is the perfect number. We love to watch them herd each other around the house and yard and are always entertained by their silly antics.
