About the store
Teaching style
I am a "real" teacher. I never grew up wanting to be a teacher, the position just kind of fell in my lap. I dread waking up at 5:00 in the morning. I hate that I go to bed at 9:00 at night. But there is something about, when children walk through the front door, that just hits you and reminds you why you are there.
I try not to focus on school 24/7. By doing things that I enjoy, like making teaching products, I can focus my mind on something besides the overwhelming feeling that can sometimes come with a classroom.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I graduated Cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University in 2012. I was also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha while in college!
My own education history
I have a Professional Studies Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Education (Whew! What a long title) from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. I also have minors in English and Spanish!
