This is a literacy mini-unit for Thanksgiving. There is a new turkey poem that is aimed at reinforcing concept of word with word cards and rhyming word cards. There is also a mini-book including sight words to encourage concept of word. I also created a math worksheet focusing on exemplars and an addition worksheet. I also created 2 worksheets for literacy stations; read the room and writing.
This file contains six math worksheets using a spring theme; Counting, measuring, patterns, two exemplars,and addition. Each worksheet also contains a challenge for students to complete increase rigor.
This packet consists of 10 math worksheets based on Kindergarten standards. The worksheets range from number tracing, patterns, measuring and comparing numbers all with a Halloween theme. These worksheets can be used as an assessment tool.
This worksheet will be used to guide my students through the scientific process. We are learning about pennies and wanted to know why they get so dirty and how to clean them. We will use this to help us in the beginning stages of the Scientific Process. Enjoy!
The math exemplars are a way to teaching our students problem solving skills. There are two exemplar problems that you can work through with your class as a whole group or in small group. We use these exemplars to teach our students basic problem solving skills, key words to look for and how to disect a problem to solve it.
