Musical Math
This resource can help teach and review several skills, including basic addition, counting, number writing, rhythm and note values. My students used this with an activity where they made their own shakers (out of easter eggs and rice) then used them to figure out the rhythm on the worksheet! It also makes a great connection to math. My students were so excited to work with music notes! I hope yours are, too!

I prefer to use a hands-on approach when it comes to teaching (and learning!). I believe that meaningful learning not only can be fun, but SHOULD be fun! Especially in Kindergarten!
