Ever struggle with impatient, anxious students while you are working with other students? This tool is small enough that it can be placed on your desk or small group table. Print out the size paper you desire. Also print the number cards and place them on clothespins. Students remove a paperclip when help is needed, and you call the next number when you are free. We all have things that we can celebrate each week. It’s important to stop and think about these major and minor successes. The Friday Check-in should only take 10 minutes. The students will write a 1-3 sentences answering the question, “What can you celebrate this week?”

This activity can be used multiple ways. There are 2 versions per grade (K-6th grade). The first version can be used as a coloring sheet, create your own questions and students color, play music while they color and when the music stops they need to switch colors, create Zentangles, etc. The ideas are endless for this activity.
