About the store
I believe in physical activity, movement, and hands-on learning. Especially now that our students are struggling with attention because of the time they are spending on screens. I started out in straight kindergarten, but soon moved into a K/1 multi-age classroom. After many years in lower elementary, I was transferred to middle school math for 2 years. Next, I taught 4/5 multi-age for many years, and now I'm an instructional coach.

Experience

I believe in physical activity, movement, and hands-on learning. Especially now that our students are struggling with attention because of the time they are spending on screens. I started out in straight kindergarten, but soon moved into a K/1 multi-age classroom. After many years in lower elementary, I was transferred to middle school math for 2 years. My own education history

Graduated from EMU with a Major in Reading and a Minor in Math. Currently hold a Master's Degree in Math Education.

Additional biographical information

I have 3 grown children. I was a stay-at-home mom until my youngest went to school full time. That's when I decided to be a teacher. My eldest son has a cognitive impairment and his teachers were such a gift. I couldn't get enough of those teachers, I wanted to be around them all the time, and so I decided that's who I had to be.
