About the store

Experience

Hi, I'm Sarah! I have served as a Middle School Guide at Acton Academy and as a Youth and Family Ministry Director in congregations, where I gained experience in Socratic discussion, project-based learning, and student-led education. My 6+ years of educational experience have shaped my passion for designing frameworks that combine SEL, project based learning, and faith reflection for 21st-century learners.

Teaching style

- Student-led & Socratic discussion-driven - Project-based and hands-on learning - SEL integration (growth mindset, conflict resolution, teamwork) - Multi-age microschool & homeschool friendly - Open-ended, faith-rooted reflection

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my most rewarding moments was guiding middle school learners as they designed and launched their own student-run busiensses. Watching them take ownership, collaborate, and grow in confidence confirmed my belief in project-based, student-led education.

My own education history

B.A. in Christian Educational Leadership (2017) with a focus on youth and family ministry, educational leadership, and curriculum design.

Additional biographical information

I design the resources I wish I had growing up — tools that help learners develop confidence, name and navigate their emotions, and engage in meaningful, faith-friendly dialogue. My long-term dream is to create a curriculum that my future children would thrive in and that Christian microschools can adopt to bring wisdom, creativity, and Christ-centered growth into their classrooms.
