I have 21 years experience in education mainly in first grade. I have my Masters in Creative Arts. I am also Reading Recovery trained.
Teaching style
I am a strong reading teacher. My training from Reading Recovery has made a tremendous impact in my classroom! I believe a center-based classroom for reading and math is important.

I am the mom of two wonderful children: Carman and Kerry.. I have a passion for reading, watching movies and creating things for my classroom. I dabble in oil painting when time permits.
I also love gardening!
