Hi, I’m Heidi — the creator behind Kleiner Schatz Learning.
As a teacher and mom, I’m passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive and easy-to-use resources that help children feel seen, valued and successful in the classroom.
My materials are designed with real classrooms in mind and focus on:
inclusion & diversity
social-emotional learning
calm classroom systems

hands-on learning
kindness, belonging & community
I believe every child deserves to learn in an environment where they feel safe, respected and encouraged to grow.
I bring over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, with a background in international preschool teaching, online ESL instruction, and language learning support. I’ve taught in classrooms in China, worked with children across cultures, and helped young learners thrive in both English and German environments.

Teaching style
My approach is rooted in play-based learning, creativity, and respect for each child’s pace and personality. I often integrate art, music, movement, and sensory-friendly elements to keep things engaging and developmentally meaningful. My goal is to create calm, joyful, and curiosity-filled spaces for little minds to grow
Awards & shining teacher moments
From helping shy students speak their first English words to crafting resources that bring light to both kids and educators, I cherish the “a-ha!” moments. My proudest achievements also include exhibiting my artwork internationally, with shows in Kentucky, Cincinnati, and Delhi, India.
My own education history
I completed a three-year formal education in Germany as a staatlich geprüfte Ergotherapeutin (licensed occupational therapist), which gives me a strong foundation in fine motor development, sensory processing, and child-centered support. I also hold a TEFL certification, allowing me to teach English to speakers of other languages with clarity and care.

I'm also the artist and maker behind Kleiner Schatz, a small craft brand that reflects my love for handmade, heartfelt design. With limited time but deep dedication, I blend education, art, and therapeutic insight into every resource I share here. Thank you for being part of this journey!
