This is a Back to School Unit that is designed to go along with the fiction book, WHAT THE DINOSAURS DID LAST NIGHT by Refe & Susan Tuma. Your students will love this comical story about dinosaurs that have a "very messy adventure" when the house is sleeping. I've used student catalogs in my classroom for many years now. I hand out money as a reward. At the end of the week (or 2 weeks depending on the schedule), students can cash in their money to buy something in the catalog. The catalog is in black and white - I typically print on bright colored paper and give each student a copy to keep in their desk for when it is time to purchase.
