This was used with a student who enjoyed fishing! He was motivated to "catch" each fish with completed tasks. Once task was completed he was able to write the task next to the fish he wanted to catch. His goal was to catch all of the fish by the end of the class period/day. Feel free to edit! Lesson to describe brain parts and neurons/axons. Danny Dendrite, Annie Axon are two hand puppets I created that are connected by fishing line at the tip of the fingers. On the fishing line is beads of information passing back and forth. I then have a student come cut the fishing line (synapse) which then loses the information.

Experience
