About the store

I have been teaching for 24 years, and I have loved every minute of it! My experience includes teaching grades 2-5, and I have also taught English abroad in Mexico. In order to broaden my spectrum I obtained several certifications including ESL, GT and Mid-Management. I am a passionate educator, and I enjoy helping other teachers.

Students will explore Greek and Latin Roots by creating a Keynote or PowerPoint presentation. Students can explore roots and build vocabulary independently. This project allows them to be creative and challenges them to think critically. I used this assignment with my own class, and my students were engaged and excited about creating this presentation. This project is great because it can be done using the iPads in Keynote, or the computer in PowerPoint. Also, students can work at their own pa

I was the Elementary District Teacher of the Year for my school district and a finalist for Regional Teacher of the Year.

My own education history

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Education in 1999. In 2007 I graduated from the the University of Houston with a Masters Degree in Mid-Management, Administration.
