I made this pattern making activity in a way that enables you to create many color patterns in any sequence you choose. You can use this template to make patterns, demonstrate groups, greater than less than, addition, subtraction and the list goes on. I would recommend printing on cardstock and/or laminating for durability. You can also take it a step further and add velcro dots unto the squares within the template and to the backs of the pattern pieces.
