About the store
I have over 27 years of teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels and learning environments. I have taught students from pre-kindergarten through college, including time spent teaching special education. Throughout my career, I have taught math, reading, science, life skills, and the arts, with a primary focus on mathematics. This broad background has given me a deep understanding of how students learn at different developmental stages and how to design instruction that is both accessible and challenging. My experience across content areas and student needs strongly influences the way I design classroom resources.

Experience

I have over 27 years of teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels and learning environments. I have taught students from pre-kindergarten through college, including time spent teaching special education. Throughout my career, I have taught math, reading, science, life skills, and the arts, with a primary focus on mathematics. This broad background has given me a deep understanding of how students learn at different developmental stages and how to design instruction that is both accessible and challenging. My experience across content areas and student needs strongly influences the way I design classroom resources.

Teaching style

I believe students learn best by actively engaging with content rather than passively sitting and listening. While there is a time and place for direct instruction, meaningful learning happens when students are doing, exploring, and thinking. My classroom approach emphasizes hands-on learning, visual models, discussion, and flexible problem-solving. This philosophy carries over into my resources, which are designed to encourage student thinking, movement, and engagement while still providing clear structure and expectations.

Additional biographical information

After many years in the classroom, working with students across all grade levels, I began creating instructional resources to support teachers with high-quality, thoughtfully designed materials that are easy to implement. My experience includes teaching students with a wide range of learning needs, from exceptionally and academically talented learners to students receiving special education services. This broad teaching background strongly influences my approach to instructional design. My goal is to provide resources that respect teachers’ time while supporting student understanding through clear instruction, intentional practice, and built-in differentiation that allows all students to access and extend their learning.
