I created reading logs, as well as reading and math logs, that are in the form of Bingo cards. These Bingo cards have motivated my students to complete various reading and math activities at home. Their parents have appreciated an alternative to an everyday reading log. This resource contains six (6) reading logs with 24 activities and 1 free space (name). There are three (3) reading logs that are specific to the months of November, December, and February. I also included three (3) Bingo log

Each Friday I send home a passage for students to practice fluency, as well as to encourage parent involvement. This is the cover letter I attach to or copy on the reverse side of the passage. It includes directions for the parent/guardian and child. There is a place to have both the student and parent sign it, and then it's returned to school.
