Keep track of your students behaviors, things said, accomplishments, and notes to self all in one spot. Then, when you go to a meeting for one of your students or have to call a parent you have concrete data to look back on. I like to print a bunch of these and attach to a clipboard to have by my side at all times in the classroom. Whenever something relevant happens, I quick jot down the date, time, student's name and what happened.

Coming back into the New Year tired and needing some time to get reorganized in the classroom. Have these coloring pages on hand for your students. They can color in the morning or the afternoon while you do some finishing touches around the classroom
This small group planner is great for planning ahead or for jotting down who you meet with as you go. I actually leave it blank and write down the groups I see as I go to keep it fluid. I also provide you with the PDF and the DOC incase you want to go in and make your own changes to the document. Everyone plans differently, so this is just a template to get you started! Happy Planning!

I am a 2nd grade teacher and I like to know if when my students are reading chapters if they can give me a little information on each chapter, the main characters, and a theme. This helps them prepare for reading assessments such as the IRA. The hand in the book with the book report when they are done so we can sit down and review it together and I can get a feel for how much they comprehended. Enjoy:)
